Media files such as images and videos are stored in folders in the Media directory. You can use an FTP client to create and manage folders and their contents, but you can also manage user access through the use of permissions in the Admin area.
Media is managed via the Manage Media link. Depending on permissions applied, you will see the following:
You can add a new folder to the Media directory by entering its name in the textbox and clicking the Create button (based on permissions).
You can add items to an existing folder by clicking on the Add Item button associated with the particular folder. If you do this, you are taken to another form that provides a file upload.
The selected folder is displayed so that you can be certain you are targeting the correct one when uploading.
You can also delete a folder by clicking the Delete button.
